a video i shot (except for the scene with the pan), directed and hopped around in for the song, Peace Attack, on Sonic Youth's NURSE album. the village voice called it one of the best examples of "fake nature art" to date! i filmed it in 4 hours during a week of downtime in between weekends of working on what would have been my documentary about the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in the UK. when life gives you a sleepy, picturesque, coastal English town... do your Sonic Youth homework. budget = 2 DV tapes, sore quads and a filthy frog costume (the same one i'd strip out of while performing as MOKINOX at the No Fun Fest).
