I love making cards and anything papercrafty. I also do crochet, sewing, embroidery and knitting in my spare time (ha ha, never enough spare time for all my hobbies!). I love meeting like-minded people, who can understand my craft obsession.

At the moment, I'm trying to film a card tutorial every few weeks. I'd love to do more, but they are quite time consuming to do, so I have to be practical.

So watch this space & happy crafting! xx

@lms249 I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. But you can just hand draw them on a piece of paper and scan them onto your computer! Had some lovely stamps that way too! =)

What is it that you use to design your own stamps? Love your videos!!

Hi Wendy, I just wanted to stop by and say that I admire you so much and your creativity is inspiring. I enjoy all your tutorials and just the endless posibilities that come from them. My daughter and I enjoy so much watching your videos and as she is learning to scrapbook (she's 9) she always asks me if we can watch Whimsical Wendy today. I don't have to worry about any naughty words or questionable content with your channel and blog. Thank you so much for that. We LOVE Wendy!!

hugs and blessings,
Brook and Jordyn :)

@lindiloop I can see exactly what you're trying to do, but it's very difficult - you'll have to play around with the placement of your A5 c.s. on the carrier sheet until it's correct. I don't tend to find my physical carrier sheet lines up to the carrier sheet on my SS software anyway, so I can't use the grids as guidelines. Not sure why this is. So it's not really important to line up of your DAD letters with the outside cut line you deleted (as this is just a guide for you and will not be cut), but you have to line it up on the carrier sheet so it cuts in exactly the right place to be central on your A5 c.s. It is for this reason I always end up cutting just one A5 size card from the middle of an A4 piece of card and using the leftovers for other projects rather than trying to arbitrarily line up my design on a card blank that is already cut to size. I actually end up wasting less c.s. this way! Hope you understand what I'm trying to say as it's hard to explain in writing! =)

Hi Wendy, I've just received my Silhouette and tried to copy the DAD card, all worked great when cutting it out of A4 cardstock, then rather than use A4 cardstock to make A6 card, I moved grouped DAD and outline to right top of carrier sheet, deleted outside cut line leaving just DAD to be cut out from A5 cardstock, all worked well except for some reason the DAD was not central within the A5 cardstock it was about 5mm off to one side, cannot see what I did wrong as it was placed correctly and centrally within the A5 original box. Don't know if you can understand what I've done or help me to understand where I've gone wrong as I have a lot of A5 cardstock to use up.
