I was able to roll with all the players in my party.

once you've enabled console
type in the console
runscript zz_addparty "name of party member"
without quotations, for example, to get Alistair

runscript zz_addparty alistair

and then he'll be in your party.

for your dog, just use dog, not his "name" (less info)
