I normally shoot pistol on steel no closer than 7 yards, in this video I stopped at 5 yards. With rifle(AR-15)I normally shoot 15 yards or greater and no closer than 10 yards. If the target surface is free of holes and pitting the bullet fragments will come off the target at a 30 degree angle....
