WAVES for Development is an affiliation of not-for-profit organizations dedicated to connecting surfing and sustainable development. We believe surf travel should benefit the people and communities where it happens.

Our mission is to create life-enriching experiences through Educational Surf programs that develop local youth into healthy and empowered adults and Surf Voluntourism programs that engage travelers and transform their world views. Our community-based programs promote:
