I'm happy that I met with you over on River Rd. today. 12/6/09 Too bad it was way too windy... I'm the guy with the Apprentice, P51micro and the MSR.

Its funny that you recommend starting with a Trainer and a Flight Sim... That's exactly how I did it, and yes, that is probably the best advice you can give since I'm on that path and it is working well. I'd go one more step and say to get the sim FIRST... do at least a hundred hours on the sim and then go to the trainer. It's probably cheaper that route... lol

But the wind you encountered today was nuts... Hopefully next week will be better.

Thanks andrebalogh64, the camera I use is a Sony HDR-SR11, makes really good film but the rendering/editing software is important too, Sony Vegas is good, and so is Majix Movie Edit Pro, the .mov render with mpeg4 encoding seems to do the best job I've seen on youtube.
The Su-34 is definitely not a beginner EDF, can be very unstable at times, try a Electrifly L39, or a Art-Tech Eurofighter, or Starmax F18., all decent light flyers. Want something that won't stall easily if you happen to slow it down too much

One more question. I am blown away by the fullback SU 34. I would really like to try/buy that plane but not sure if it would be a (too) big step for me. I can read and write with my T28 (check out my channel) but EDF jets is something new. Would it be better to try a smaler, simpler jet or do you think this is a stable EDF to start with. 300+ bucks just seems a bit much to crash away....:)

Warderseeker, what kind of hd camcorder do you use for these awesome vids? What's the editing SW? I like the smooth zoom on the video(and stable shots too) and those slowmo's really look tight.....

start with a trainer, and a RC flight sim, then see if you're ready for a EDF like a mig
