About Me:

I record dub and electronic music with a definite 1980's influence.

I enjoy stuff by Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and Human League. I like the song 'shame' a lot. Basically any music that shows a bit of intelligence and ability I usually enjoy.

Locally I do a bit of DJing and play stuff like the cure, smiths and cult plus my fav electro and electronic tracks.

I love everything right from 80's stuff like Shannon to Cocteau Twins

Interests: I love watching documentaries and science programs. Im a big fan of Richard Dawkins & Sam Harris

Favourtie Quote:

I feel engulfed in the infinite immensity of spaces whereof I know nothing, and which know nothing of me, I am terrified The eternal silence of these infinite spaces alarms me.

This was filmed on iphone at the front bar. It was a bit of crush to say the least. Great night out. Specials were really good

waheex really pleased as I just got a play of 'girl in the petrol station' on the local Radio 1 show along side some great artists.

So you think you're designed, one of a kind. A track written by Mindburner, inspired by electronic artists such as John Foxx and Depeche Mode

P.s thanks for the info on uploading Being Boiled etc. I want to do it as a tribute together with their analogue synths, early photos of them and a few of 80-s Sheffield.

Girl in the petrol station- great track. Is your prophet 5 playing the bassline on this and if so, is it a MIDI Prophet? I used the old trigger/gate one... a beast...awesome, together with tuning probs and all. lol

Gotta say the prophet 5 is a classic synth. I used to have one in the 80-s. Nice track Your Slave, just listened to it on your website. Getting back into recording using MC909 and Ableton. Nice one of Sound of the crowd you did. I've done a cover of Being Boiled and Tainted Love but a bit of a worry over whether will it be a problem uploading on youtube or will i have to apply for copyright permission and all that? Cheers for any info on that. Dirk
