Isaiah 25:
"8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken [it]."
DEATH is the penalty for sin, but what is SIN and what is DEATH?
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:
for sin is the transgression of the law."
(New Testament - 1 John 3:8 )
Ephesians 2:
"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Saved from what?
From DEATH.

Saved from what?
From DEATH.
About Me:
We can not earn it; we can not save ourselves from this death.
What does it mean by 'Death' though?
It means that we WILL BE DESTROYED and we will NOT LIVE FOREVER without the only Salvation from this death, which is by the grace of God, through faith in the Son of God.
The doctrine of IMMORTAL SOULS IS FALSE and is not found in the Bible. It comes from Greek mythology and not from God's WORD.
Without Jesus we all die and DO NOT INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE.
Jesus said, "6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." in John chapter 14...
So, SALVATION from a mortal death comes only by the grace of God the Father, through faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
NOW THAT WE KNOW SALVATION FROM DEATH CANNOT BE EARNED BY OBEYING GOD AND HIS LAWS AND COMMANDMENTS, does this mean that the Law of God is therefore ABOLISHED?
Let's say you break the law of man, and you get a speeding ticket, and the penalty for that transgression against the law is $100, but I tell you I will pay the fine FOR you. This is "grace".
Then let's say you get 5 more tickets and I pay them all for you.
Is the law therefore abolished?
Of course not.
You should be thankful.
Look down at your shoes. Is the ground still there?
That's the EARTH.
Look up in the sky.
Is the sky still there?
Are the planets and stars still out there?
Here's why I ask you this question.
JESUS SAID, in Matthew chapter 5:
"17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
SO, is the earth still under your feet?
Are the heavens still there?
Then the Law of God is still in force.
Does the Law save us from transgressing / breaking it?
Of course not.
Jesus did that for us.
We are saved by grace, through faith, PERIOD!
Nevertheless, the Law of God is still in force.
I encourage everyone to study God's WORD and to trust it.
All OF IT.
Jesus said "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." in Matt 4:4 and Luke 4:4 and he QUOTED that from the Old Testament Deuteronomy 8:3 and when Jesus said this not one word of the NEW Testament had been WRITTEN YET !!!
How many words of God?
All of them, right?
God wrote the Ten Commandments with his OWN FINGER.
I suggest we start there...
Deuteronomy 5: (The Ten Commandments)
7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
8 Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth:
9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me,
10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
14 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
17 Thou shalt not kill.
18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
19 Neither shalt thou steal.
20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any [thing] that [is] thy neighbour's.

Revelation 21 "1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
