My interactions with my collection of some of the worlds most venomous snakes.
About Me:

I've been catching snakes since the 1960's and keeping venomous since 1973. After living in States that prohibit private individules from keeping venom snake I finally live in a place that so far allows captive keeping on venomous reptiles.

@14nsm14allday: Unless you have had extensive training from an experienced venomous reptile handler the answer to your question is neither. If this is your first venomous species and you have not had proper training you are surely to be bitten. Use prudence.

I'm not sure what your opinion is on crossbreeding different species is but I was thinking a Gaboon x Rhino viper might be really interesting. I have seen a lot of interesting crossbreedings in non-venemous. I was curious about your expert opinion on that pairing. Do you think it would cause problems with anti-venom if someone were bitten by the offspring?

I was wondering if you also keep Vipera Berus?
I am from Germany and know that it is basically the only venomous snake around here. But they seem to be verry, verry rare and I would love to see them close up.
