The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Carla (who happens to be a big Ventures fan also). Two children... one 4 year old girl named Kaylynn Faith, and one 2 year old boy named Matthew Ray. Only God knows how many more little ones are to come :) The Ventures are my all time favorite band in the world!!! My dad turned me on to The Ventures music when I was about 5 yrs. old. I remember the first album my father played for me was "Ventures In Space". My dad and I, over the years, collected just about every U.S. Ventures LP. In 1989, when I was 11, my dad took me to see The Ventures for the first time at the old Wilson Theater in Fresno, California. My dad and I were best friends and had a lot of good times together. My dad went home to be with The Lord October 16th, 2005.
Carla and I were married Sptember 15th, 2004. The first time she saw the Ventures was in 1986 in Eureka, CA. We finally got to see the Ventures together four times! (01). Del Mar, CA '06; (02) Arroyo Grande, CA '06 (03)Cabazon, CA '07; (04). Santa Monica, CA '07... These concerts demanded very long road trips. However, in 1993 I traveled all the way to Booneville, Arkansas to see Nokie Edwards play at "The Mosrite Factory" !!! !!! What an awesome ad-venture!
