Never one to follow the rules, Tosca ends up paying a heavy price for her insubordination. As one of Flower's daughters, Tosca is forbidden from having pups, the dominant female reserves this right for herself. A defiant Tosca has a secret romantic encounter with Carlos, a rogue member from the Lazuli mob, which results in a litter of three. Flower spares the pups' lives, but evicts her rebellious daughter from the group. Tosca lives at the edge of the group for weeks, hoping they'll let her back in, but Flower's word seems final.
