IMPORTANT TIP! If you are in need for macro lenses, seach for old VHS video cameras from jumble sale or second hand shops. They contain often great optics! I just bought an old Canon VHS camera for 6 euros and as I disassembled it I got there six various macro lenses, practically free! One of the lenses had about same quality than the Vivitar Ser-VII lens I have used to shoot most of my macro videos!
