Asian Sword Arts of South Carolina is a traditional martial arts school which teaches the Korean sword art of Kum Do (Korean Kendo) & the Japanese sword art of Goshindo (kenjutsu, battodo & tameshigiri).

Furthermore, the school is licensed through both the World Kum Do Association & the All Japan Goshindo Federation/International Sports Chanbara Association.

wambliokiyan:

Thank you for the gracious compliment. Long sensei is an extremely skilled swordsman & teacher, we were very fortunate to have him leading the seminar.

Met Tom this past week. Extremely humble, yet terrific swordman. Personally saw him cut grass mats with Carl Long Sensei. His skill is to be envied.

If interested, the following link is to instructional clips that I completed for eHow.com. Though I completely advocate traditional training, I do not feel my offering of internet instruction contradicts that fact. I agreed to perform them as a means of education & awareness which will hopefully inspire the viewers to receive legitimate instruction. I hope you will enjoy them & thanks for watching.

As it seems access to Youtube Groups is on hold for an indeterminate amount of time, I would like to suggest that members of my "Swordsmanship" group consider joining this forum... http://www.wiwingtiswordsupply.com/forum/. I am one of its moderators & can honestly say that the atmosphere is very friendly. All are welcome & I hope to see you there.

Galatia films, the maker of the film documentary "Reclaiming the Blade", is again teaming up with Weta Workshops in promoting the new "Hobbit" movie. They have created an entertaining podcast (Hobbit in 5) which provides weekly information on the film's progress. I highly encourage everyone to subscribe. Thank you. http://www.youtube.com/hobbitin5
