Sixth Avenue Express have been gathering a lot of momentum recently with their mid tempo, emotionally charged productions striking a note with a larger and larger audience. While they have put out releases across a plethora of labels their home has always been at House of Disco Records and thats where SAE is now releasing their next solo EP titled 'I See'. Full of the clever touches and the warmth you've come to expect from them this EP delivers on every front.

Rogue Vogue has been making a name for himself as a producer worth keeping an eye on with releases on French Express and remixes on Deep&Disco & Shiny Disco Club. He's finally ready to release his next original EP titled 'Say You Will' on his new home at House of Disco Records.

'Say You Will' includes 2 originals that brim with the joyous side of 90's house backed up with 3 remixes from Dublin Aunts, LeSale and House of Disco's Sixth Avenue Express. The originals are in keeping with each other while each of the 3 remixes bring something new to the table.

Monitor 66's arrival onto the scene with last summers 'Triscuits' saw them pop up on a lot of top dj's radar's, such as The Magician who opened his Magic Tape 22 mix with it. It also saw their first release on House of Disco, their adopted home. Since then the two boys from Sweden have been honing their sound through a series of lauded remixes for Tempogeist, Kolombo & Rythm Operator. Now after some painstaking studio time they are ready to release their next original work, their first solo EP, Vitae on House of Disco Records.

'Vitae' starts with the title track, which firmly re-enforces their manifesto of making music for sunsets. Bit's haunting vocals are given a different context with some invigorating melodies and bright positive basslines.

Next up is 'Virago', a slightly more sultry affair featuring some rebuilt but familiar vocals that progressively open up as if bearing their soul and plenty of shifts and depth to keep sneakers on the dancefloor.

Third on the EP is their most house orientated track to date. Hi hats keep the tempo as this one gets a little deeper, again their vocal treatments are a signature of their sound but this time with a more 90's feel.

Finally we have 'Cur' featuring Oh Deer. A truely unique end to the EP this track plays out like a love story, a fitting sunset to an accomplished and long awaited solo EP from the two young swedes. The first of many by the sounds of it

Finnebassen - 'Baby' EP - HOD008 Play

Fresh from the success of the Guilty Pleasures EP by Satin Jackets & Ejeca, next up from the ever growing House of Disco Records is Finnebassen's - 'Baby' EP. Boasting make overs from Monitor 66, Ron Basejam and Debonair along with the original track itself, this is a vinyl with credentials that speak for themselves.

'Guilty Pleasures' EP - HOD007 Play

Guilty pleasures, we all have them. This release updates and fiddles with some serious guilty pleasures that all but the youngest of music fans will recognise. HOD Stash is a series of treasures from a label that shall remain nameless but you'll no doubt recognise.

Satin Jackets is the first to revive a track that needs no introduction. 'Dee Baby' removes all the elements that date this classic track and replace them with a different calmer soul. This track is exclusive to the vinyl and will be your only chance to get your hands on it.

The last track on the A side see's 'Dee Baby' get the dub treatment and Satin Jackets has created a key laden, familiar, behemoth of nostalgia for you to indulge on.

Finally seeing us out we have EJECA's musical marmite 'Natal' which plucks a very familiar sample indeed as he pulls off the impossible and crafts a trance guilty pleasure into an addictive, patient house groover peppered with a typically ravey vocal.

Rocco Raimundo - 'On The Rocks' EP - HOD005 Play

Announcing our first solo EP from the one and only Rocco Raimundo. Australian born, but clearly Italian Casanova by name and nature, The Prodigal Son of Funk has a gift for furnishing our senses with sexy, sensuous and soulful beats. His mix tapes have reputedly salvaged more failing relationships than Dear Deirdre, while his own productions are the epitome of modern day audible erotica.
