These are some little excerpts from the two-part tv film "Das Juengste Gericht" / "Last Judgement" (2008). Christoph plays a Viennese cop who is having an extramarital affair with his colleague Monica. Together with another seasoned cop he has to track down a serial killer who has apparently watched "Se7en" a couple of times too often.
The film has not been released on DVD.

Clip 1 of 2: These are some little bits from the German film "Blutsbrueder" / "Blood Brothers" (1997) of the tv series "Schimanski" . Schimanski is a retired cop and a State Attorney assigns him to take Christoph's character, Klaus Mandel, from a prison in Belgium to Dusseldorf where Mandel allegedly intends to make a witness statement against his best friend and former business partner Kruger.
Schimanski a Mandel have a history together. Six years ago Schimanski arrested him for the sneaky murder of a book keeper who had detected that Mandel's and Kruger's business was a fraud. However, since the enraged Schminanski had mistreated Mandel during the interrogation, the judge had to let him go free. Currently, Mandel is in jail, because the police detected drugs on him in a casino in Belgium.
Before leaving the prison, Mandel made arrangements that some associates of Kruger set him free on the way to Dusseldorf. But when the pursuers reach them, Mandel realizes that in fact they have come to kill him. Mandel and Schimanski can escape, but they have a car accident. Mandel drags the injured Schimanski out of the burning car, but cannot get away, because Schimanski handcuffs himself to Mandel. The latter, however, is now in the possession of Schimanski's gun. Subsequently, the film sort of turns into an unusual road movie.

This film is available in Germany on DVD RC2 as part of the "Schimanski Box" and I highly recommend to get it. CW has a total screentime of over an hour. If you want to rent it, you need to get the first DVD. Unfortunately, there are no English subtitles.

The Oxford Union is a debating, educational, and social society, membership of which is open to all matriculated members of Oxford University (and many other notable educational establishments). Over the years countless actors, writers, film stars, musicians, celebrities and politicians have spoken there. These past guests of The Oxford Union include the Dalai Lama, Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, Presidents Nixon, Carter and Reagan, Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, Michael Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi and Albert Einstein to name just a few.
