A lot of the survival videos on the internet are so serious in nature. In contrast to this, I wanted to create a wide range of amateur videos on different urban and wilderness survival topics.
I grew up in the woods of East Texas. From an early age my dad took my brother and I hunting. Being in the wilderness is second nature.

The Survivalist Boards Forum was created as a combination from my upbringing in a rural town in East Texas and the Cold War. Both of which have had life long effects.
My grand parents lived a simple life on a farm in East Texas. They raised their own food, had livestock such as chickens, turkeys, cows, pigs and horses. Seeing people who could take care of themselves was a lot different from the city lifestyle.
