I think Dan just might be right - I think we're gonna be surprised by just how much change there is in the way most people look at religion.
But that doesn't mean we don't need to continue to be vigilant - it's not just gonna change all on its own (just think of how much emotional investment there is for all those people).

Oh, I see, because Frodo really believed that Sauron was real and out to get him, that means Sauron actually exists?!?
I think men wrote the Bible. Men who - like anyone else - brought their own mistaken resoning and personal agendas to the endeavor.
The Bible is not evidence - it's the claim.
And besides, how should we take events purported in the Bible that we now know in fact DID not happen (creation of humanity in a garden, worldwide flood, slavery of Jews in Egypt, etc.)?

I truly don't get it.
Even so, I did enjoy Into the Darkness - I was just a bit disappointed when I realized "where they were going" with the plot.

What part of "I'm done" didn't you understand? was it the "I'm" or the "done" that gave you trouble?

That's: "should have" or "should've" - not "should of".
Nitwit.

Here's a thought - the Gambit we saw in Wolverine was supposed to be (at least a little) from the past. They could still use Kitch (who I think COULD make a really good Gambit), just sort of "recycle" the character and bring him more in line with the Gambit we all know and love.

If you're really him, then: Hey, I think you're the best - AND: Sorry to bother you.
If you're not (far more likely): Bite me, smart-ass!

How 'bout a small patch of chainmail?
Or maybe just some knotted-together segments of jewelry-style chain?

Well, who would you pick in a fight between Bucky and Batman? 'Cause Bruce told Dick (after he became Nightwing) that he considered him an equal.

Just a thought - what if they looked at this truly as a sub-set of the Marvel film universe?
I mean, have the occasional cameo appearances by Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, etc. (and yes, I do mean as played by Samuel Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansen, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, etc.)? Even just the occasional walk-on would be so cool.

Loki as an ally?
Only if they do it the same sort of way they made Krais and Scorpius into allies on Farscape.

I'll go along with the "plodding" - but I gotta disagree with you on the "terrible" and the "plotless" (although the plot WAS a little weak).

I know this was supposed to be a list that highlighted less mainstream comics/characters, but I think Nightwing would work great as a TV series. They could do the same kind of simple, no-fluff intro that they rtied to do for Birds of Prey, but do it as a serious crime-drama with a little somthin' extra. There's no reason they couldn't imply and or invoke the entire DC canon whenever the situation warranted, yet try to restrict the events/storylines to Blüdhaven.

What I wanna know is: Why did Cassiopeia Project do an anti-global waming video?
Yeah, I cross-referenced after recognizing the narrator's voice ('cause that's the sort of thing I do), and found out this otherwise reputable source was spouting this anti-AGW rhetoric. WTF?!?

Yes, I just found your answer - you probably should have linked it as a response to my query (instead of your response). I would clasify that as a remote - while nevertheless PLAUSIBLE - possibility (as the first "dinosaurs" appear to have been two-legged), although birds seem to have more in common with the later theropods (and your suggestion would have required a rather long-lived parallel evolution). Also, their smaller size is absolutely NO evidence against the theory.
