Danke, daß Du "Shoah" hier reingestellt hast, ich habe ihn Daheim und als ich ihn das erste Mal anschauen wollte, mußte ich irgendwann stoppen, weil ich dermaßen Heulkrämpfe bekommen habe. Dieser Film ist ein Meisterwerk, authentisch, beklemmend, fast lähmend. Jeder sollte diesen Film sehen, und Pflichtkür in allen Schulen.

Great documenataries on the Holocaust! Time to put an end to those crazy conspiracists who spend too much time with Ahmadinejad. The proof is immense - survivors, # tatoos, you can still see the blood that the Nazis tried to scrape off the gas chambers in Poland, there are remnants of the concentration camps, there are Nazis that testified, official documents, the shoes of those who went into the concentration camp...

It's sad that we actually have to do this - it's sad that people who deny it exist. I applaud Germany for their work - it is a crime in Germany, like many countries, to deny the Holocaust. It shows how Germany learned from their mistakes, changed their views, and is now totally different. No one would ever think to associate Nazi Germany with modern day Germany. I hope other countries can learn from this.

Lanzmann was a protege of Sartre & I think his influence is evident in Lanzmann's extraordinary attention to detail. No documentary or theatrical work on the Holocaust before or since has touched this one. Thank you again.

Well said, the holocaust is a fact. I can't understand all this hate for jews. Of course there are bad jews and good jews just like there is in every other kind of people but I don't see how they are any different from us. They have the same values, the same love we have for our children, our families and a great philosophy and sense of humour. If we had more people like jews, the world would be a better place. If they are successful then good luck to them, after all they deserve to be. It's time for certain people to get a life and get over it.The jews are here to stay and personally if I had a choice, I would much rather be occupied by them than the nazis or others.
