As a small exercise in my progress towards to ultimate tweetshirt, I created an interface for a 8x8 LED matrix display.
It doesn't do much at this moment: a program runs on the PC, fetches your latest tweet and control the USB attached LED display to show it as scrolling text.

This is about half of my 10x10 RGB-LED-matrix already working. In the demo, I use it as a screen magnifier. A 10x10-image is captured from the picture beneath the mouse-cursor and sent to the matrix via RS232-bus. The matrix is currently running at 100 FPS.

so this is my second arduino project, waiting to be put onto a nice pcb. this is not the sparkfun matrix, but one from china. all the pwm is done on the arduino with an ISR.
