About this user

I am currently a photojounalist for News9 in Oklahoma City. Having been in the news business for 11 years (7 as a news photographer/ editor) I have seen and done many exciting things. The biggest being when I inadvertently captured an unidentified object over the Albany Int. Airport. That crazy ride began with me being hooked up to a polygraph test by the FBI and ended as the subject of a History Channel documentary for the series "Monsterquest".

I began my career in Scottsbluf, Nebraska at KSTF-TV. There I learned the ins and outs of news, performing every job in the building from Master Control and making commercials all the way to fill-in sports anchor.

From there I moved to Albany, New York to work at WXXA Fox23 News where I was a full time news photographer. I decided I wanted to be back in the Midwest so I landed a job at KSNW in Wichita, Kansas. I honed my skills in Kansas for nearly three years until I saw a great opportunity to really blossom as a photojournalist at a heartland powerhouse station.. News9 in Oklahoma City.
