I fancy myself an intellectual. I'm interested in philosophy, mysticism, politics, economics, sociology, and science. I'm interested in meeting other intellectuals here, and look forward to some fruitful discussions.

Spiritually, I would identify as a progressive Christian mystic. I try to ground my spiritual beliefs in metaphysical models from philosophies and theologies such as Integral theory and process theology.

My favorite philosophers include Alfred North Whitehead, William James, John Dewey, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Jürgen Habermas.

I'm a recent convert to anarchism, though I've been shifting in a left-libertarian direction for a while.
