About Schwarz Kennels
The Schwarz Kennels is home to the Alsatian Shepalute, a companion dog selectively bred out of the working and herding dog breeds. In the development of this new breed, pups that exhibited traits of the working dog or herding dogs were NOT desired. Only certain pups were selected to continue in the breeding that exhibited the desired traits of a family companion dog.
Schwarz Kennels lies on five acres of pasture land in Southern Oregon. Our dogs are bred with a laid back temperament and a desire to stay close to home. They can be left outside during the night (or day) without ever going across the boundaries we have set for them.
