The city or town should get sued and you right but just hope no one gets hurt in the car! lol

More and more towns are looking in to these quad gates/quite zones. It is like a domino effect when one town or city gets them then more follow. That is my biggest fear that someday you wont hear a train horn anymore in cities/towns or even some neighborhoods for that matter. I love the sound of a horn blasting in my eardrums because that is a part of the experience. What is this world comming to! lol.........you have a Merry Christmas also.

Pretty soon you won't hear a horn from a train in Vermilion because it will be a quite zone. Three streets will have them stupid quad gates put in. The stuck up snooty snobs want their peace and quite so, after they are put in nobody will here the beautiful sound of a locomotive horn in town anymore. Trains been going through Vermilion for 140 yrs and now all of a sudden its a problem? If you dont like the sound of what a train makes and dont like noise DONT MOVE TO VERMILION!!!! It is common sense but, that does not seem to matter any more. That is why I am moving from Vermilion because to many stuck up spoiled brats dont appreciate the fact that railroads been there for 140 yrs. Whats next?? I lived around the Vermilion area for 37 yrs and the sound of the horn was always a comfortable sound to me. Now soon it will be no more. That is sad to say the least.
