Chairman George

Chairman George is a Greek-Canadian bouzouki-playing musician and singer (and former civil servant who holds a PhD in mathematical statistics) who has been called everything from a musical "ambassadeur du monde" to a "troubadour savant". He performs rock-infused Greek folk songs as well as traditional ballads in a dozen languages. He composes and performs original and traditional songs in Mandarin Chinese and has toured in China since 2000, performing at international festivals and TV stations across the country where he is a singing sensation. In fact, in China, Chairman George is like Elvis!

He is also a two-time Olympic torch bearer and the subject of two international TV documentaries. He can go solo or rock the house with his band Chairman George and the Ministers. After a series of acclaimed albums, his upcoming release is the groundbreaking Greek Chinese Fusion album “Bringing the Greek Party to China!”
