Edge has had good matches but he's not that great of an in-ring worker imo. To me Edge is another Randy Orton type of character, where a majority of the match he does some punches, some kicks, maybe throws in a few moves like a vertical suplex, a top rope superplex or a hip toss & drop kick. But when I watch a wresling match I usually like to see some...wrestling going on in it. -> Jack Swagger, Christian, Alex Shelley, etc etc. Edge the character isn't bad, I just don't care for his wrestling ability these days.
Hey, Just saw the best shoot interview that I personally ever seen. And it's Lanny Poffo. A great shoot that you can see featured on my channel... He needs to be a Commentator for WWE or anyone! I always respected him and always enjoyed his mic skills and poems. As I feel the WWE should put them in their HOF even if he was a Jobber. Hey, Koko B Ware is there!
Yeah i can sit here and defend WWE, TNA, or ROH as well as bash it, but really what benefit do i get out of it? Nothing!! I am just going by "You either like it or you don't and there is a remote control in front of you to help you if you don't".
Well with fans getting dramatic about the WWE. Maybe if people not anyone here but all around the internet stop saying every company but the WWE sucks maybe fans would shut up. And I mean ROH, I see alot of how people talk about how great the WWE is and how ROH is failing. It gets old. I mean if you hate a company don't go where they talk about it. And if you hate seeing someone bash a company don't bother defending either.
Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, Rocky Romero, and Alex Koslov are coming back to ROH, I feel this more than fills the spot of Nigel and Bryan. Not saying those guys are better or anything but a great move by ROH. To those who say ROH will go out of business soon. I say no, Well the same idiots say TNA is going to go out of bussiness too because of Hulk Hogan. ZZZZZZZ
Whenever I am talking about Cena, I am obviously talking about Cena the character. The WWE creation. Not the person/the wrestler.
Perhaps Cena could have really taken off after winning the title at WM21. We will never know for sure. What we do know is that by SSlam 05, he was already getting half booed. By WM22, it was clear that a significant portion of the fanbase was outright rejecting this character.
IMO, the watering down of the character, the kiddie jokes, the superhero comebacks, and the repetitive storylines did not help.
Sure, lots of kids bought that ugly spinney belt, but we are WWE fans, not WWE accountants. How does this watered down character, despite shirt sales, benefit us the older fans?
Not to mention that his Spear looks weak.
