About Ruairidh MacVeigh

Hello and welcome to my Trainspotting Youtube account, Rorymacve. Here you will find a variety of shots and footage dating back to 2009 when I started getting into the business, and much further in one of my picture slideshows. I take a great sense of pride in my videos, constantly changing my camera techniques and video editing in order to suit a more modern audience.

Formerly, I was the local trainspotter for the small south Devon town of Teignmouth. On my older video's, you will see that Teignmouth had its fair share of trains, including FGW HST's, XC Voyagers and HST's as well as local FGW services run by Pacers and Sprinters.

Now I live in Preston in Lancashire and film the various trains that pile through the city hourly. These include Virgin Pendolino's and Voyagers, Northern Sprinters and Pacers as well as a variety of freight and specials.
