Ritimo provides top class tutition in Drum kit and Percussion in his own studio and selected schools throughout the North-East of Scotland.
A native of Brazil, Rossini's business name is derived from the Portuguese word for rhythm ( RITMO).
Ritimo UK caters for all ages from 4 years upwards. Lessons are available in Ritimo's own studio in the village of Aberlour in Moray ,where Rossini has lived since 2000.
Rossini also teaches at the prestigious Gordonstoun School near Elgin.
Ritimo UK follows the Rock School syllabus follwing the official material,and enters students for Grade Exams if the are keen to do so ,which gains them officially recognised qualifications. Ritimo UK students are also given the chance to perform in front of an audience in our showcase drum festival. Since 2007 there has been one of Ritimo's students in the final Top 40 Young Drummer of the Year ( under 16 ),a national competition which attracts over 600 entries.
In the customised Aberlour studio there are two very well equipped full size Drum Kit and also a complete child size Drum Kit to cater for the younger groups. There are is also a ranger of Congas and a variety of Latin Percussion.
Rossini is available to run percussion workshops for schools at both Primary and Secondary levels,and is also equipped for in-service training for music teachers. He is widely respected percussionist having performed live in many venues around the world and has been a guest artist for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra.
