Jordan is 12 years old and comes from Kirkby-In-Ashfield. She is living with Aplastic Aneamia which was diagnosed in February 2011. Jordan has had chemotherapy and had a bone marrow transplant in June 2011.
Since Jordan has been unwell she finds it hard that she can't do as much as she used to like swimming, going out with her friends and due to the risk of infection she has been unable to attend school which is the thing she misses the most. Since her diagnosis one of the things that has kept her spirits up has been the thought of a wish.
Jordan loves the dance group Diversity and has always followed them. Jordan applied to Rays of Sunshine to grant her greatest wish to meet Diversity at their dance studios so that they could teach her some dance moves.
On 14th December 2011, Rays of Sunshine granted Jordan's wish. The charity which grants the wishes of children living with serious and lifelimiting illnesses in the uk, arranged for Jordan, Brother Stanley, Mum Amanda and Stepdad Gavin to travel to London where they were collected and taken to the Hilton Metropole Hotel for their stay during Jordan's Wish! The family had the afternoon free to do as they wished before having dinner at a restaurant of Jordan's choice. The next morning dressed in her new outfit, courtesy of the charity, Jordan and her family were collected by limousine and driven in style to Dancework Studios where Jordan was to meet her Diversity idols! On arrival Jordan was met by Jordan and Perri from the group who showed her around the studios where they rehearse as well as the costume department where Jordan was given a signed cap worn by one of the boys! Jordan was then joined by the rest of Diversity who took her through some of the dance moves! After an amazing morning Jordan and her family said goodbye but not before being given lots of signed merchandise to take away with her! The family were once again collected by their limousine and taken for lunch at Planet Hollywood before returning home.
Jordan's mum Amanda said; "The wish was fantastic! It was perfect actually. The boys from Diversity were really friendly and they taught Jordan a few moves! The day was great and I really appreciate that Rays of Sunshine took professional photos for us to remember it."

Amy from Bexhill-on-Sea became our 2000th wish child on Monday when she realised her dream to publish her own Hospital Fairy book - Mimi the X-Ray Fairy.
The talented 8 year old, became acutely and suddenly ill in March this year and after extensive tests was diagnosed with the viral infection Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitiis (ADEM). Amy was treated at The Evelina Children's Hospital in Westminster where she deteriorated very quickly. Her journey back to normal life was a long hard struggle, but she is now back at home in East Sussex and doing well. Amy loves creative reading and writing and her favourite books are the Rainbow Fairies books published by Hachette.
During her time in hospital, writing became Amy's therapy and her greatest wish was to write a hospital fairy version of the books to hand out to the other children at The Evelina.
Rays of Sunshine contacted Hachette Books who enthusiastically agreed to help turn Amy's wish into a reality. Amy worked with the author and designers of the Rainbow Fairies series, who made sure she kept full creative control.
On Sunday September 11th Amy, her brother Jack, mum and nana arrived in London and spent a night at The Millennium Mayfair. The following morning a limousine drove them to the offices of Hachette in Euston where they were welcomed by The Rainbow Fairy team. The family were given a tour of the offices and introduced to all the members of the team including the writers and illustrators. They were then taken into the boardroom for a colourful breakfast, which included a glorious rainbow cake. The budding author was open mouthed as she was presented with her very own book. Amy and her brother were treated to lots of other goodies including original Rainbow Fairy illustrations and boxed sets of other Rainbow Fairy books.
The limousine then took the family onto lunch at the Rainforest Cafe before Amy's last stop, The Evelina Children's Hospital where she visited the children on the wards and handed out copies of her book.
After the wish Amy's mum said: "Thank you for the most fantastic day, Amy still has a huge grin on her face and can't wait to get to school to tell everyone about it".
