Surely there are educated pnps out there (apart from pnpyogirl) who can hold an intelligent debate? And if there aren't a number of people who are inclined to defend their party's position, how the hell did they win so many seats?? Hmmm.
Sunday, 25 November 2007 Tension is high in sections of Central Kingston Sunday evening following the shooting of Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate for the Rae Town Division, Rosalie Hamilton.
Ms. Hamilton, who sustained a wound to the chest, is in stable condition in hospital.
RJR News has been informed that the JLP candidate might undergo surgery Sunday night to have the bullet removed.
Angry residents have since blocked roads in the area.

JLP kick starts local gov't election campaign

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has kicked started its local government campaign with grand pronouncements of its performance in local government over the past four years.
Addressing the Area Council Two meeting in Bog Walk St. Catherine Sunday afternoon, State Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Bobby Monaque declared that his party has the better track record.
He also used the occasion to announce several sweeping changes to the Local Government programme.
He said these will affect how the councillors carry out their roles.
Police called in to probe Cuban Bulb scandal

The Fraud Squad has been called in to probe alleged irregularities in the Cuban light bulb distribution programme.
On Tuesday, the house was told of duplicate payments amounting to millions of dollars.
Energy Minister Clive Mullings disclosed that the matter has also been referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Kern Spencer, the former Junior Minister in the Ministry of Energy was placed in charge of the light bulb distribution programme wept as government members erupted in frenzy when Mr. Mullings sought to shed light on the issue......

LawYahMan I already predicted that Bruce would be shocked when im look inna the kitty.
But you know what.....it is time to use it as a pretext to lop off some heads. Get rid of all the sport programs, all the Consultants, all the Communications Directors, every one that remotely had anything to do with planning, collecting taxes and fees on behalf of the GOJ.
Time to make some new videos too, to document the dishonest reporting on the country finances by Dr. ClueLess and the PNP Governments.
