HMMMM, What if since we know that atom have subatomic structures with in them.... That our universe is really the inside of another atom and that we are subatomic particles in an atom that is part of something inside another universe?

@Paco, and @Phil, both great questions and answers to what space expanded into. I also believe in the multiverse theory, which is, I believe, supported in string theory. I've also heard that physicists have recently discovered that the current set of physical laws are insufficient to describe the universe, that is the universe is incalculable from first principles, suggesting we need some new physics. Don't get me wrong, I don't think for a moment that insufficiency of existing physical laws means an opening for god to fit in. No, I think that this new physics will be discovered and with it we may yet be able to reach those stars Phil so eloquently describes.

Phil :P More videos to help us combat creationism plz :P I finally forced one to back down but it took days of explaining stuff and the MOST amazing fortitude to resist smashing my head into the keyboard many time at this fella's stubborn resistance to facts or indeed any explanation. I think many of us would like to get help on finding a more concise way of dealing with their challenges to science. The insular nature of creationism is a tough nut that keeps those ppl trapped but good. And creationism needs to be expunged in my opinion. Dragging it out in the light and pointing out all its shortcomings compared to science merely made this guy run back into the dark and scream "YOU LIE" and so forth. Ugh.
