Best of LMMS Music (Vol. 1)
A collection of what I consider the best music made using the free open source software LMMS. It's in no particular order and I tried to mix up the playlist a bit, so it goes between electronica (mostly techno-style) and orchestral music. It's somewhat amazing what people can do with free software while being patient enough to work around its shortcomings.
Some listeners may note how I changed the title a bit. From "so far" to "Vol. 1". I'm not sure if I'll add new playlist volumes, but rather a lot more people are coming to the realization that LMMS is a powerful piece of software. (Not bad at all given the "price" which doesn't cost more than clicking the download button over at Sourceforge.) There's a lot more good music out there (at least in my opinion) being made with LMMS, but I just don't always have the time to go looking for it. Limiting the list to "so far" wouldn't be fair to musicians making new and great sounding works which are posted on YouTube. Also if anyone has put together other LMMS created playlists, let me know and I'll give 'em a listen. If I like them, I'll be glad to link them from here.
