As an educator since 1980, it is my ambition to help develop schools in promoting independent thinkers and problem-solvers through creative means and role-modeling.

The primary goal of The Hitting Stops Here!, a national non-profit grassroots organization, is to see USA "school corporal punishment" banned in the remaining 19 US states still sanctioning this barbaric form of punishment.

As Executive Director and founder of The Hitting Stops Here! most of my time is spent raising awareness and working toward having a ban placed on US school beatings and other forms of harmful punishment of American schoolchildren, targeted primarily at disadvantaged children and those having special needs.

In my free-time I mostly sleep, dance, run or spend time with my daughter, Nia!
