November 9, 2009 Dear President Barack Obama,
We are writing to alert you to a gross and unconscionable violation of our American school children resulting from our government failing to protect them from school abuse under the 14th amendment of the Constitution, its equal protection clause for ALL US citizens. Our children are being subjected to violent discipline practices by teachers and administrators which are universally condemned by recognized leaders in the fields of pedagogy and psychology. It is a widespread problem and those with authority to correct it pretend to be unaware. The U S is the only Western industrialized democracy that sanctions school abuse. It is one of the causes of the high drop-out rate that afflicts our schools in paddling states. It promotes violence by modeling violence. It signals its users' incompetence. Here are other alarming facts about this matter: The reported number of American school beatings in school years prior to your election has hovered around 250,000. Since your election in fall 2008, school year 2008-09 ended with a report of 350,000 cases of school beatings and reporting is not mandatory. That places our American school system in a state of emergency! This single ASTRONOMICAL jump of 100,000 reports in one school year is unprecedented by any other school year in American history...

The Hitting Stops Here! has approached numerous chapters of the NAACP to gain support and protection for the primary targets f American school abuse and fatalities which are Black American boys and girls. Included in our emailing, calling and postal mailing has been National Leader Julian Bond. He has remained unresponsive.
By coming together, the NAACP, alone, is capable of bringing this American tragedy to an end in just ONE day.
This "pipeline to prison" tactic for the Black American community is condoned by the Judiciary, Legislative, and shockingly enough, our Black American President led, Executive branch.
Science has proven that whup'n children causes low grades, depression, condones violence in our communities, and "leaves our children behind."
Yet, see how the NAACP cheers for whupn em!

How does a President receive a Nobel Peace Prize when American school children groan and suffer under "US Government" Sanctioned School Abuse and Fatalities? More than 2000 reports of abuse are submitted daily. That number is increasing and reporting is not mandatory.
Why are our Black American leaders allowing our Black boys and Black girls to be the primary targets of American school abuse and fatalities? Informed leaders, including, Marian Wright Edelman, President Obama, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, Julian Bond, and a host of other prominent Black leaders "see no spanking, hear no spanking and speak no spanking." Why?
Marian Edelman Wright spoke at a breakfast held in honor of Dr. Martin L. King Jr. at a Maryland Teacher Association gathering on Jan. 17, 2009. Her message: Black and Brown children are being "left behind" in American schools. Theme: Who will be the one to speak out for our children?
President Obama spoke at the July 16, 2009 NAACP 100th anniversary gala event in New York, and told the Black community that we need to "whup" our children and our neighbors' too in order to rebuild our Black communities.
"Whup'n" children is a violent methodology used too often in rearing Black American children to make them behave. It is a leftover tactic from slavery days. Uninformed parents and sadistic educators and administrators entrenched in the mentality of ole' slave massa' wholeheartedly embrace this form of punishment.
In spite of the fact that science has proven that "whup'n" a developing human being is harmful in EVERY way...authors, Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman, profess in their new book, Nurture Shock, that beating Black children is a necessity to "make them behave (see pp 185-187). This book has been endorsed by Parents Magazine, Katie Couric, The Wall Street Journal, Good Morning America, and other celebrities who know better. Ive written Po and Ashley to find out what part "pigmentation" plays in behavior modification.
Why didn't Marian Edelman Wright bring the matter of school beatings up at the January event? The primary targets are Black American boys and girls. Statisticians have reported that "paddling" schools have the lowest academic scores, the highest drop out rate, and that less than 37% of our children attending paddling schools score above average on their standardized tests, yet 86% score above average in nonpaddling schools.
This is a no-brainer.
We have enough Black Americans to join together and bring this hell to an end for our children. But do we have enough Black Americans with the heart of our "King" to end it.

Al Sharpton, President Barack Obama, Newt Gingrich, Mike Bloomberg, Arne, George Miller, Gregory Kutz...like Marvin Gaye would say, "What's going on?"
Why are our Black American leaders and government officials pimp'n our American school children, particularly our Black boys and girls.
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was he the last man of integrity; the last man with any heart for mankind, fellow-Americans, and dare I say, for children? He would never have been a "sell out," saying, "Whup 'em" and then slam the Executive Branch door on our children who pledge their allegiance every morning to a government system that pledges no allegiance in return.
You "leaders" are Pimpin' them into American prisons, prostitution, military, and a life-long string of low paying or scandalous jobs like they're your "Products." Our precious American school age children --sold for someone's power, greed, and sex.
Shame on President Obama and his team for allowing this scourge to go on, harming our innocent school children under such brutality sometimes leading to fatalities (see GAO/ACLU on our Home page), all the while talking about "Change."
While talking about "No Child Left Behind." Good grief!
The Native Americans called that kind of talk about "Change" and "Whup 'em," words that come from having a "forked tongue."
I pray for you President Obama. Martin Luther King Jr. was a man that you would do well to remember and to do your best to imitate. He too said that the leaders in this country must follow the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in his speeches, and referred to our government as being sick...because they would not.
Et te Brute, Obama?
With your present form of leadership, "Change" coming to America is mathematically impossible.
Health care in this country is used up abundantly by people who grew up being "whup'd." You know that; you went to Harvard.
Do what is right and allow our ancestors to rest in peace and our Black Communities to thrive under your leadership. Didn't you see our tears of joy for your leadership on November 4, 2008.
As a result of your venomous words, people like Parent Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and Katie Couric have no shame in endorsing literature that teaches, "You must beat black children until they learn to behave." My God.
I hope you will take the time to read Psalm 82: 3-4 and to pray for guidance to serve in the likeness of our "King."
It is never to late to start anew. The time for Justice is always now, that being the same time for forgiveness.
You are in my prayers,
