I began flintknaping around 1980 and have been at it ever since. I am interested in all forms of flintknapping from the replication of small bird points to large dance blades.
All of the videos that I have posted here are also available on DVD at my website shown above. The DVD's were copied directly from my digital camcorder and have much better quality and far higher resolution.

Hi Jim, i just finished watching all of your videos and i have to say you have made them very interesting and fun to watch, I live on the Nissequogue river on long island NY and many arrowheads have been found along the river they are made out of quartz rock , I was wondering if i could use the same tools on Quartz rock to make arrows , The Quartz is a very hard rock . Thank you for sharing your knowledge i look forward to seeing more of your videos .

hey there, i found yor videos on here about a month ago. i've been knapping for about a year, and wish i knew then i coutl watch people knapp on line. it would have saved me alot of bleeding.
