We are together as a band for so long now, we know it's very hard to stand the ground and get attention in the music business nowadays. We can only stand the pressure an the stress because we are not only a band, we are really best friends! We became soulmates during the years and this will help us making our dream come true ...

Wie Gefangene auf einer Insel, verloren in der Enge einer kleinen Gemeinschaft, so fühlten sich die vier Jungs, die 2003 die Nu-Metal-Band Nu-Matix auf der Nordseeinsel Borkum gründeten.

Angetrieben von dem festen Willen mit ihrer Musik erfolgreich zu sein, um dem Inselleben entfliehen zu können, brechen sie als Borkums einzige Band auf und schaffen das Unglaubliche.

Im Frühjahr 2006 nehmen sie erste Demosongs auf und bekommen die Chance, für Tokio Hotel Support zu spielen. Gleich zweimal eröffnen Nu-Matix für die junge Erfolgsband. Dann überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. 2007 werden sie als Genresieger „Rock von der Volkswagen Soundfoundation gewählt und absolvieren Radio- und Fernsehauftritte. 2008 erhalten sie vom Produzenten Markus Gumball (Tamoto, Guano Apes) das Angebot für eine professionelle Produktion. Intensiv wird in den Studios von Cubeaudio gearbeitet.

Nach fast einjähriger Pause treten Nu-Matix wieder in die Öffentlichkeit; mit neuen Songs, einem neuen Sound, reifer und professioneller, um ihr Ziel zu erreichen.

Nu-Matix machen Rockmusik für die "Neue Generation" eine Generation, die sich auszeichnet durch Zusammenhalt, Respekt und Zielstrebigkeit.
