I now have a SECOND channel, for non-cartoons, and slightly different videos. NSC videos can take a long time, and I don't have as much time as I once did - so for everything else I've got to say, when I get around to saying it, please check out and SUBSCRIBE to NonStampChannel2.

I'll make an official launch video some time soon.

I have nothing to do with any "NonStampCollector" pages on facebook.
I don't have an NSC facebook page.
Just so you know; they're not me.
I don't do "friend requests" on youtube. I'm very friendly, though. Sometimes.
If you send me messages with no punctuation (and/or lazy spelling), I will be rude to you. Punctuation or G.T.F.O.
No, I do not, and will not, make videos about Islam. I don't know enough about it. I grew up with Christianity, so I know it. SO: the answer is "no", so please stop asking. No, that's the end, thank you, no, no, the end. No I will not. That's that. None. No videos about Islam. Further inquiries will be ignored. Sorry, I've been asked a few too many million times.

About Me:
I argue against the idea that the Bible has anything to do with truth in the areas of divinity or spirituality. The Bible is a demonstrably revolting and appalling piece of writing. It is morally redundant, and so full of murder, revenge, punishment, war, and bigotry that it amazes me that anyone can even mistake it for being in any way "holy".
I used to be a Christian, in very simple, middle-of-the-road churches in Australia, but over the course of many long, miserable years of questioning and doubting, managed to get free of it. I didn't do much about my atheism until I stumbled across Hitchens, Harris and Dawkins making the case AGAINST religion, and I realised the detrimental influence that Christianity has had, and continues to have in the world. I now believe that Christianity, and religion itself, is worth acting against.
Ken Ham tells his audiences that they HAVE TO believe in Genesis, because if the Old Testament is false, then it stands that the whole thing is false. This principle is perhaps the only truth he has ever uttered from the pulpit. Yes indeed, if the Bible is NOT the one and only, perfect, divinely inspired message from the creator of life and the universe, then the Christian religion tumbles in on itself.
I believe that the Bible is WOEFULLY inadequate in living up to a claim of "Divine Authorship", or even influence, and therefore that anyone who uses it as a focus of their life, or a source of "eternal" truths and ethics, is sorely misguided.
Through my videos, I hope to have people question whether the Bible is JUST SO GOOD, so PERFECT, so WISE, so ACCURATE, and that the character of Yahweh is so BEAUTIFUL, so LOVING, so JUST, that the text itself cannot have been written by human beings alone, without godly influence.
Indeed not. The Bible bears the stamp of its lowly origins - the imaginations of iron-age, superstitious, bloodthirsty war-mongers, determined to conquer and kill all the enemies they could, and all too willing to install fear and guilt into the hearts of their people, so as to more easily claim divine authority for unbelievable acts of cruelty and barbarism.
As for Jesus - yes, there's no doubt he is an amazing improvement upon Yahweh (except the minor detail about him announcing the eternal torture of the dead, which doesn't get mentioned in the Old Testament). But--- if Yahweh fails to meet the standard of being holy and perfect above anything an iron-age human mind could invent, then Christ's being the son of this imaginary character fails to be very meaningful. And besides, the best bits of what Jesus had to say were being said long before him, in places such as China and India (documented).
Do you find my videos offensive? Well, I'm offended that throughout history, and even still today, people have been, and are being, paralysed with fear of being condemned to an imaginary torture chamber after death- indoctrinated from childhood that they need to beg for mercy and forgiveness, and that nothing they can humanly do can save them from having endless pain and suffering inflicted on them for the crime of being born human.
I'm offended that people I know, love and respect have had these dishonest ideas put into their heads, and had it influence their choices ALL their lives, constantly weighing their thoughts and actions against the desire to please the imaginary master who alone can rescue them from the imaginary torture that He Himself threatens to dole out.
I'm offended that reasonable, ethical people are compelled to even try to square their beliefs about the holiness of the bible with its actual revolting contents, compromising the morality that is innate in them, with ideas like "Well, stoning people to death wasn't ALWAYS all that bad, it used to be actually holy... and murdering innocent children IS ok (and holy) in some contexts after all". WTF?
Make no mistake about it - your religion is EXTREMELY offensive; it is an insult to human dignity, and I look forward to its demise.
--------- HOUSE KEEPING ------------
I get too many comments to be able to read them all. I always read PMs and replies to my comments.

House Rule:
I reserve the right to delete messages that contain appalling spelling and punctuation, yet are obviously written by native speakers who should know better.
This doesn't apply to apostrophe violations...
You're = you are.
Your = belonging to you.
Got it? Good.
... but that LOLcats/text message-style spelling?-- deleted the instant I fucking see it. No apologies.
Yes, I am narrow-minded about this, just like biologists are narrow-minded about creationism.

I was wondering if you'd consider producing a video on at least the First Nicene Council. I doubt many Christians (and for that matter atheists) are aware of just how much of accepted dogma was established by a fourth-century committee of bureaucrats and not found in the bible at all, because the whole "what books should make up the infallible word of god according to us" bible hadn't even been decided yet. Hell, the trinity was practically invented in Turkey, as well you know, as a compromise to placate some popular whining bishops and excommunicate some unpopular ones as heretics to the faith they had just made up. I'd really like to see your take on those issues. Thanks for the terrific videos!

I just thought of something. You can call a square a circle by relating the square to the way you walk around something. If you walk around something, even in a square motion, aren't you still circling? That makes a square a circle, right?

I could be the defender of Christ when it comes to every bible contradiction, the interpretation of God's will and identifying intelligent design in evolution. Two of these defenses are identical and thus are debatable to anyone's sensibilities, but the bible contradictions take extra effort in interpreting the "truth" of what the bible meant, instead of having our convenient senses say that something negates another thing. I can say to the contrary when it comes to these lazy interpretations from the senses. There are NO TRUE CONTRADICTIONS that exist. There is room to say that identical sounding things only sound that way, and both of those things which are identical refer to different wholes.

I'm not a Christian or anything, but I think that your interpretation of how Jesus would carry out conveying the message that people who didn't follow him would be burned alive for eternity was a little unfitting. Jesus could convey the message with a sternness while being the leader of his people. Your satire is a fail of your own sensibilities, or rather an exaggeration to the extent of the message of Jesus. The punishment may not be an exaggeration to it being it is what it is in what Jesus thinks will happen to the betrayers. I find that people saying that something is what it is don't take that something objectively, usually.

anyone that thinks a natural, normal and healthy birth is disgusting has some mental and emotional problems. children learn more negativity from the reactions of the adults around them than they would have thought up on their own. you people are just silly. there is nothing wrong with showing children birth videos. and, i might add, there is nothing wrong with breastfeeding either. all you people out there who buy porns and have sex (!) but oppose nature are ridiculous. a naked body is not wrong or bad and giving birth is truly a wonder of nature and humankind-- to be celebrated.

The perhaps "deluded" idea that there is a God should have been evident by looking at the trees and nature itself. Coming from any point of view this could be the induction that someone comes up with. And, us making things may not be a reflection of God making us. Our products come from the labor of physical force rather than this entity speaking things into existence.

I have been subscribed to your channel for a couple of months. I have liked your cartoons for more than that. Looking at a vagina giving birth was surprising, but seeing the shitstorm that has come of it is even more surprising. Keep up the good work. I look forward to an original upload in the future? Cheers-Brian
