About Me:
I am very different from the crowd I hang with. Sure, I listen to Rap and Hip-Hop daily, but my iPod is filled with song that never hit that genre. My iPod mostly has Billie Holiday on it of course. But I have a few other; Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Fats Waller, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Dizz Gilespie, etc.
I'm just different. I listen to different music than what kids listen to today. And I'm very proud to be different(:
I am very "hooked" on Lady Day's voice. It's like no other.
I have tons of videos, so if you get bored, there are a ton of my videos waiting to be viewed, rated, and commented on(:
Thank you
Nigel

Greetings from Poland !
JP
I was your age in the 1970s, and I felt the same way you do ! Don't lose hope, you will find friends who appreciate Lady Day --she is so classic ! Thank you for these videos !
People like you remind me that not too long ago the human race demonstrated that it could make fantastic music-- song writers, lyricists, singers, arrangers, musicians, bands of every genre.
When I am not here I am listening to Motown, the Philly and Stax artists, even NewJackSwing in the 90's when the artists could truly, truly sing and croon.
Now, Nigel, please post a description from start to finish--the details of how you put together these videos wit the great sound quality!
You the man!
Dee
