Amelie started in pubs and cabarets in Lyon, France in 2001 as a solo piano singer. She then decided to work with 3 musicians and put up a real show which was acclaimed all over the country and rewarded her with many prizes in all french-speaking countries. The first album was a hit in france and before working on a second album, spring 2006 saw the release of a DVD with the complete show and many surprises (as the videoclip present here on your tube !)
In 2007, Amelie started writing new songs with old friend Olivier Longre. 6 months later they started recording the new album : la porte plume (the feather door) wich was released in october and immediately gained fantastic acclaim from the media and the fans. the album was awarded with prestigious Charles Cros Great Prize for best album of the year. A two-year-tour began with amazingly crowded theatres all over france, belgium, switzerland and even Spain, germany and Austria. The new made a stunning impression with its 2-meter-high-door-piano (!) and amusing bunch of improbable instruments on stage. the tour will end december 2009.
