On Tuesday, May 26, 2009 I hit 2,000 subscribers!! And on Friday, August 21, 2009 I passed 2,500 subs!! Woo-hoo. :D You guys are the best!

I've been posting to YT since October of 2006 and I really enjoy making vlogs and talking about living in Japan.
In August of 2009 I finished my 5 year job as an ALT and moved back to San Diego, California.
I hope to return to Japan in 2010.

I have a 2nd channel, used mainly for responses and random thoughts:
TaishaJason
http://www.youtube.com/tais...

I now have a 3rd channel dedicated to all my Sumo videos. JasonsinJapan
http://www.youtube.com/user...
The 100 or so SUMO vids on this channel are all in a playlist called SUMO. Some are private to avoid clutter, but just ask if you want to see one.

Please feel free to ask a question about JET or living in Japan, but please peruse my playlists first - I might have already vlogged about the topic of your inquiry.

I remember you saying that a bachelor's degree is required to work in Japan regardless of job. I believe you, but I can't seem to find that on an official source like the Japanese gov't website.

The views that you can see and the views that count towards top 100, etc. are always a little off. On my GBM channel it's off by about 100,000 views. On this channel it show I have 954,042 Video Views but on the ranking it says...887,853 views. So there you go! YT is just slow to update those numbers! Keep making great vids and you'll catch up soon enough!

Hey man! I saw that guy's comment on your video. What an ass. He's really out of touch with what most people here think of foreigners. Unfortunately, anywhere you go in the world there will always be people that think their country is only for them and that everyone else is worthless or inferior. I've been here for almost a year and a half now and am happy to say that I've never met anyone like him. I think you can compare him to racists anywhere else in the world. They have a fixed view of the world and there's nothing anyone can do about it. You can give them a million examples of how foreigners in Japan are a good thing, but as soon as one bad example comes along they'll ignore you and only focus on the negative. There are ignorant people all over the world. It doesn't matter what country you're in, they're there. Fortunately, they're the minority and most people are kind and accepting of Others.
