About Me:
 
They say that by the year 2050 there wont be enough food to feed the worlds population. Food security looks like it's going to become a major issue into the future. I think it's important that we all know how to produce a lot of our own food in order to pass on those valuable skills to future generations ......We need to get back to the basics. .... We don't need to live in huge houses where there's no room left in the yard to grow a few vegetables. I have a waste not, want not philosophy & I believe God helps those that help themselves. My aim through my u-tube videos is to inspire & show people (commercial free) how to grow, then cook their own food & taste the difference. I'm passionate about producing our own food (organically). My fishing provides our main source of protein & omega 3. Our videos are about the food we produce for ourselves. How we grow, prepare & cook the food. Our recipes, baking breads (by hand), making jams, sauces & chutneys. A comprehensive look at my beekeeping. Even our street machine. You'll find it all in our videos. I relish the opportunity to answer any questions & welcome any feed-back . I'm thankful for Wilma's support. She's a part-time registered nurse at an age-care facility. Our videos don't suit everyone, but for those who desire to be a little self sufficient or keep bees, there maybe something there for you. For me, every day's an adventure, new things to learn & discover. New recipes to try............, Please stop by from time to time to say "Hi"....................... ..... PS. I have no books, dvd's, videos to sell & I don't require any funding.. You wont find me on facebook, twitter, etc.

I love to study nature & to see how everything has a purpose in balance. I love the study of bee culture. My favorite tree is the Bunya Tree(Araucaria Bidwillii). My favorite bird is the Wandering Albatross (Diomedea Exulans). I love the ocean, close encounters with whales, fishing in the moonlight, the sound of steam & the sound of a good V8.
Movies:
Ground hog day, The blues brothers. Movies, starring James Stewart. David Attenborough documentaries & Michael Palin travels. My fav. all time tv show is "the beverly hillbillies"...then there's "open all hours", "the vicar of dibley". Just recently "creature comforts" & "the ricky gervaise show".

thanks for the sweet potato greens video i have them growing everywhere i love the tast i also use them in stir frys and wow that sweet potatoo with the oil and herbs was great:)

Hello again, unfortunately, the climate of Ohio, USA doesn't help me to grow much of anything, it is winter now. I'm looking forward for spring in order to grow my own vegetables. Just like you, I love nature, I believe, we're deeply connected to the soil. We come from it, at the end, our bodies go back to it. Thanks for your videos. I do not know Wilma, but I can feel your love for each other, and your truly concern about others, That's love and it can be felt in your videos. God bless you.

saw you on the telly, channel 7 news...loving your clips. we have 2 bunya trees in our yard and didnt know what the heck to do with the nuts...do now , keep up the great work (sunshine coast QLD)

Jeff and Wilma have done a fantastic job with their videos. I originally became fascinated with Jeff's harvesting of those unusually bountiful frames of honey. I think its a food of the gods. Now recently they have added gardening and homemade recipes for various dishes. I think its just like a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work. We enjoy your videos from Texas.
