@15Woodsmen I have a Craftsman II with an 18 horse briggs and hi-lo transmission that would probably give the John Deere's run for thier money. I like my John Deere's but the Craftsman is on hell of a beast.

While you had it that far apart you should have gone a head and put in a new piston and rings. Bore it out at least .010 over. But does sound pretty dang good.

@bluebowtie01 Depending on what year it is the engine should be either a Kohler 12 or 14 horse.

Now that is how you hook up and launch.
