My encounter with Mariah Carey began when I was working for UPN. We had booked her to shoot "wraparounds" one afternoon in the fall of 1998 at The House of Blues in Los Angeles, to be seen on an upcoming movie of the week. We got to THOB early to set up cameras lights etc, when I get a call from a gay bar down the street, saying they had my puppy! He was a 6 month old, enormous, golden retriever rottweiler mix that had apparently climbed my fence, his first and only escape attempt, of course on the day of the shoot with Mariah. Sooo, I had to leave the shoot, drive to this bar, retrieve my retriever, and return in record time....luckily, it was still early enough in the day that we were basically sitting around at that point, a typical locale shoot......(TBC) (less info)
