I think snowpeak is japanese, as you may know. not that they don't have lids in japan but this could explain their not being in touch with english speaking customers.

Sabre11004---That would probably work. You can make it thicker by just adding less water also. I used a cup but 3/4 would be better. I am looking for something to replace the dehydrated burger because i don't like the texture.

Tinny, I was watching you make your new "sloppy Joe stuff and I was wondering if you could maybe add some of the powdered potatoes into the mix to make it thick enough to actually eat like a sloppy joe on a bun. I think that most of the potatoes are spiced pretty good too so that would be an extra bonus w/ the extra spices

Tinny, have you had any time to go hiking at all ?

We've not heard from Tinny in 5 days. I sure hope it's merely the Tinnster setting up new equipment and busy with the shop/family. We miss Your videos. Best wishes.

do you think it would be safe to cook meat directly on a flame of heat?

Dear Tinny Have the HN Bongo Deluxe (Awesome)!! Mine went straight to the machine shop. Had an experienced machininst come up with a creative way to pull extra weight out of the base no lathe, and havent even started drilling yet. Maybe too much work for a store product. But a lot of fun for me. I was all about the Gnome #2 when you first showed it two months ago. If youre still interested in making some, Im definitely interested in buying!
P.S. My Bride promises to love me forever and to let me shop to my hearts content in your store, if I can acquire the Micro GI Joe Stove for her. What do you say Tinny? I can saw, split and stack wood for days on end, I also have cash and need stoves. How about a trade? Youre the Bomb!!
P.S.S. Regarding Questions and Answers maybe you peaked out on the Bongo Deluxe kind of like the Tinnys version of Leonardos-Mona Lisa or NASAs-Lunar Landings. I guess well all have to see if Mars is still out there for you. ---PAL
