LYRICS BELOW. This is one of the few songs I've recorded with a backing track, as most of my songs are acoustic guitar based. It is a song I wrote some years ago, and it got written very quickly. This is an early version of it.

LYRICS BELOW. Some years back, I got the idea for this song from seeing a poster saying 'I want to believe' in Mulder's office (from the X-files). I thought it was a great concept of someone who was sitting on the fence, and wanted to believe, but maybe had to be convinced. Anyway I had the title for several years before I wrote the song. This is what I came up with.
I WANT TO BELIEVE
All alone in the world that I live in
Life was shallow when you left me
Thought that something seemed to be missing
Things weren't perfect, including me

I had wanted to wait until I recorded some of my songs professionally, but that hasn't happened yet. So I am putting an old demo of this song up with a slideshow. It is recorded live onto a recorder, just voice and guitar with no effects. I also just heard about the movie 'Inception' which is apparently about dreams. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
