We know for some the theme of family can come across as scary or painful, but our God is a gracious, loving dad, and he continues to save and adopt more kids into his family.
As a family, we're made to be in right relationship with God through Jesus, and the way we relate to each other should be based in love, kindness, and care. Though none of us has picture-perfect families, Jesus is at work reconciling us to God as sons and daughters and to one another as brothers and sisters.
Esther is a beautiful and deeply human story. Through it we see life as we know it. God's perfect work through imperfect people. This sermon series is not about the virtues of the people who saved the Jews from certain genocide. It's about the providence of God and his ability to accomplish his will, despite the imperfections of his people.
