Since this is a new account, I hope you'll forgive me while I get things going and get into the flow of this process.

I'm hoping that this will develop into something like an instructional art diary! I'm usually working on one project or another or trying to progress or learn a new skill, and I thought it might be fun to chronicle that, both for the sake of interest, and as a way of contributing tips and techniques for curious parties. : )

I know I love watching videos on other peoples' DIY and art projects for entertainment or inspiration. Because most of my progression in art has been either self-taught or learned by searching out tutorials or studying the work of others to suss out the likely techniques, I thought I'd join in on the community and give back in case there's anyone out there searching like me.
