Steve joined the public accounting profession in the UK as a raw junior with a small firm in 1980, and after qualifying in 1983, he joined a national firm -- where he spent 2 years - before his old boss asked him to join him in business where, together, they built a firm from scratch to four offices and sixty staff in just five years.
After the sale of that firm, in 1990, he had a further two years as a sole practitioner before selling that practice, when he then switched over to advising accounting firms on marketing and strategic planning issues in 1992.
Since then he has developed a reputation around the world as one of the leading consultants to the public accounting profession on a wide variety of issues.
Steve came to Canada in 1998 and spent some time in the recruiting business on Bay Street (Toronto) before launching his own consulting firm in Canada, to exclusively serve the public accounting profession.
