Hey, I'm Callum, a 20 year old animator from Western Australia. I mainly do stop motion with clay, but also enjoy drawing and making 2D animations in Flash.

About Me:
About time I updated this thing so:
- I used to use the full version of Stop Motion Pro now @ http://www.stopmotionpro.com but I now use Dragon Stop Motion @ http://www.dragonstopmotion... (because I now use a Mac and SMP isn't available on it. Dragon is better for usability in my opinion anyway).
- A free couple of stop motion programs I recommend are Animator DV Simple + @ http://www.animatordv.com/d... or Monkeyjam @ http://www.giantscreamingro...
- For visual effects I use Adobe After Effects and post-production is done in Premiere.
- For my older claymations I used a Canon M700i DV camcorder, which is terrible by todays standards so any DV camcorder is fine.
- I currently use a Canon EOS 40D Digital SLR, which connects to my animation software through live view and a USB cord.
- I film at 24 frames per second
- I use Belgrave clay, but it's only sold in Australia. Fimo is too soft and I haven't used Sculpey 3, so you'd have to try that one out for yourself. Apparently Van Aken is of good quality.
- I get my sounds from sounddogs.com, soundsnap.com or I make them myself.
