I used to warm the etchant by partially submerging the container in hot water. Also, I'd float the single sided board, which makes it easier to pluck from the etchant. Plus the copper tends to fall away, so, not need to agitate.
In my highschool (in the 80's), the teacher also had a tin plating solution, which kept the copper from oxidizing later. Really a cool finishing touch. Made a lot of boards this way!

I saw your Mechamo Crab & Halloween Hack video. I'm very much interested in buying a machamo crab and doing the exact same thing you did. I want top use it for a film i'm about to make. But I have no knowledge of electronics etc

Is this going to be difficult for me to do myself? I think it looks so creepy it would be perfect for my next film.
