Logan Mucha decided to follow his love of visual arts and writing to pursue a career in film after completing university degrees in engineering and arts. Since then, he has developed a passion for storytelling spanning across many mediums.
After creating a variety of short films on 8mm, 16mm and HD video during his diploma of screen in Australia, he achieved success with his short film Fugue which screened at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2010.
His current work is his feature documentary East Bloc Love, exploring LGBT rights within Eastern Europe, which premiered at the 2011 San Francisco International Frameline Film Festival.
He is currently in post-production for a new documentary about LGBT activist Nikolai Alekseev from Moscow.
