Lovebytes 2007 The highlights of Lovebytes 2007, the international festival of digital art in Sheffield 13-20 May 2007, included a specially commissioned sound installation 'Does Music Affect Plants?' at Sheffield's Winter Garden (17-18-19 May 6-10pm. An extraordinary environmental artwork by celebrated musician and sound-artist Biosphere turns Europe's largest urban glasshouse into a sonic test chamber. Another site specific piece commissioned for the festival, 495,63 by Yasunao Tone, one of the pioneers of sonic art. Tone transformed a book of Chinese calligraphy into a sonic and visual performance at Sheffield's Central Library (18 May).
